The paper stays, the details move
The QR points at your live profile rather than at a phone number. Change the number and every card you have ever handed out points at the new one. Nothing gets reprinted and nothing gets binned.
Some people want something to put in a pocket, and a paper card is still the fastest thing to hand over across a table. The problem was never the paper. It was that the number printed on it stopped being your number.

The QR points at your live profile rather than at a phone number. Change the number and every card you have ever handed out points at the new one. Nothing gets reprinted and nothing gets binned.
A pack does not have to be one design. Each card can carry its own name and its own code at no extra cost, which is what makes a box of them work for a team rather than for one person.
Each code has its own history, so a box handed out at one show and a box left on a counter are two different numbers rather than one guess.

7–10 working days · delivery quoted with the item. Made to order, so the price and the carriage come back together — tell us what you need and a person prices it. Cards, by contrast, are posted free within 7–10 working days.
Make it in the Design Studio, send us artwork, or let us set it from the profile you already have. None of the three costs anything and none of them commits you.
Size, quantity, and where it is going. About a minute. Those three are what a price depends on, which is why the form asks for them rather than for a paragraph.
By hand, not by calculator, with the delivery inside the number rather than added later. You get a link to the quote with the specification on it.
The quote becomes an order when you accept and pay it, and not before. Nothing is made, and nothing is charged, while you are thinking about it.
Made to order and delivered. The code on it stays yours: point it somewhere else next year and the thing you are holding carries on working.
Not a calculator with a margin baked in. Sizes, quantities and finishes change the cost, so somebody looks at what you asked for.
Quoted with the item rather than added at a checkout. The figure you accept is the figure you pay.
A quote is an invitation to buy. It becomes an order when you accept and pay it, and not a moment earlier.
Point it at something else whenever you like. The printed thing does not have to be reprinted because a number changed.
They go where a tap is awkward or unwelcome: across a counter, into a wallet at a trade counter, stapled to a quote, dropped through a door. They are also the cheapest way to put your profile into a lot of hands at once, which is the case a single NFC card cannot make.
This is printed card stock, not an NFC card - there is no chip in it, and it is scanned rather than tapped. If you want the thing that works with a tap, that is the NFC card, and most people who buy these buy one of each: a card they carry and a box they give away.
Every one of these carries its own code, and the code points at a live profile rather than at a phone number. Change the profile and the printed thing stays correct; point the code somewhere else and it starts doing a different job without being reprinted. Each code keeps its own history, so a set of them tells you which one people used. More on that in how the codes work, and the whole range is on one page.
If it is for a stand or a show, the events page puts the staff cards, the table stand and the board together in one setup.
Something not answered here? Ask a person — there are two of us and no ticket queue.
Somebody scans it and sends their details back, so the enquiry arrives with the code it came from attached.
Anyone viewing your card can send their name and number straight back — no app, no account. Connections land in your dashboard.
